An Alien in Spain Visits - Poland (Malbork Castle)

After exploring Gdansk I decided to travel the 50 kms by train to the town of Malbork where lies the largest castle (ground coverage not height) in the whole of Europe. Once you arrive 30 minutes after leaving Gdansk you can either catch a No. 1 bus two stops or turn right out of the station and walk through the town a pleasant 30 minute walk.

The castle is home to one of the biggest collections of Medieval Armament and weapons in the whole of Europe and you should set aside the whole day to take in all of the splendour including the playing of the lute and on certain occasions jousting in the grounds.

I will let the photographs speak for themselves.
